When ADSBHub is shown on the map, live positions come from ADSBHub. The app subscribes to aircraft around the selected location. Coverage depends on contributing receivers; routes and aircraft details come from the separate sources below.
Private development uses adsb.fi position data under its personal, non-commercial terms. This optional polling configuration covers the LAX region. This source is excluded from commercial mode.
Live position data from adsb.lol contributors is available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). See the original open data. The source shown on the map identifies the network supplying each update.
When configured under a commercial agreement, fallback position data is supplied by Airplanes.live. That data is governed by its separate terms.
Aircraft registration and type are supplied by position networks when available; the ADSBHub SBS feed does not include them. US manufacturer, model and registered-owner information is supplemented from the FAA aircraft registry. Registered ownership does not necessarily identify the current operator; some fields may be withheld or unavailable.
When enabled, flight routes, times and gates are supplied by FlightAware through AeroAPI under separate commercial terms. Flight details link to their source. Information can be delayed, incomplete or unavailable.
Usual-route hints come from Virtual Radar Server standing data, published under CC0. They are inferred from undated callsign history. The actual flight may have a different origin or destination; no schedule, gate or status is inferred from these hints.
Airport locations are from OurAirports public-domain data. Airport layouts and roads include © OpenStreetMap contributors. Terrain and model credits, licence notices and geographic source extracts are linked from each scene.
Map imagery and aircraft photographs, when enabled, carry their own provider credits and terms. Position-data licensing does not grant rights to those images or to paid flight details.
Predictions are estimates between received position reports.
